IRATA
Training:
As a member of IRATA,
C.R.I. provides training and assessment for level
1, 2 & 3. Each session exists out of 4 days training and 1
day assessment, carried out by recognised irata assessors.
| LEVEL
I: TRAINEE |
|
• Accessible to everyone
• No rope experience requested
|
|
Basic training containing all aspects of safe working with industrial rope access. |
|
An operator level 1 works at all times under supervision of a responsible level 3.
|
|
|
| LEVEL
II: OPERATIVE |
|
• 1000 hours and at least 1 year experience as Level 1.
|
| Advanced training where the emphasis is placed on 'rigging' and rescue techniques.
|
| An operator level 2 works at all times under supervision of a responsible level 3.
|
|
|
| LEVEL
III: SUPERVISOR |
| •
1000 hours and at least 1 year experience as Level 2.
• First aid certificate
|
| Specialized
training where the emphasis is placed on complex
rescue operations, alternative rigging, responsibility
and insight in working situations |

IRATA Assessment
4 days of training are followed by an assessment, administered
by an acknowledged Irata-assessor. Each assessment comprises an
oral, theoretical and practical part.
Certificaion and recognition
Successful candidates receive an Irata-certificate, passport and
logbook. Each certificate remains valid for 3 years. Candidates
at Level 2 & 3 must prove the necessary practical experience,
based on their logbook.
