Industrial Rope Acces Trade Association is an international standard for rope access companies.
Information on techniques, equipment and training is collected by IRATA and forwarded to their members, which ensures constant evaluation and improvement.
In cooperation with the industry, guidelines and requirements where provided, which are compulsory to all IRATA-companies.
These companies are controlled on a regular basis, based on interim inspections and audits.

The principal aim of irata is to ensure that all assignments carried out by its members are done in a safe and high quality manner.
